I build showcase websites and e-commerce solutions for local businesses and artisans.
When a restaurant changed hands and its previous websites could not be recovered, I independently designed and launched a new Astro site. I handled the content, development, and deployment, including structured data to improve search visibility. Within three months, it reached an average Google position of 2.8 for the restaurant name and local searches.

To get a five-person product team delivering again, I changed how work was broken down and tracked. Within eight months, median cycle time fell from around 30 to five days, without estimating each ticket individually.
To improve user journeys, I launched MVPs and refined the new administration interface using analytics and feedback from the customer satisfaction team. I also conducted technical assessments for several engineering hires and helped recruit peer Engineering Managers.

As the company moved from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant architecture, I led the technical migration with a seven-person team and regular input from the CTO. I designed zero-downtime migration paths; two microservices were running outside the monolith when I left.
To speed up large-file ingestion, I built the proof of concept for fastexcel and contributed to the open-source project, including header handling and benchmarks. Using Rust and Apache Arrow cut the loading time for a reference file from around five minutes to 10 seconds.

As part of the international team working on Michelin’s global e-commerce platform, I focused on improving product-page performance. I validated on-demand loading of tyre variants through a proof of concept, avoiding exhaustive precomputation on initial display. This raised mobile Lighthouse scores by an average of 10 points on car, motorcycle, and bicycle pages while preserving the selection journey.

To modernise the search engine embedded in the monolith, I designed its gradual extraction into a .NET API. I compared both engines using saved searches; processing time fell from around 800 to 600 ms before a later database change.
I later progressed from Lead Developer to managing three teams across search, mapping, and SEO. I supported their development through coaching, shared practices, and goals that encouraged autonomy.

As part of Numericable’s development team, I designed the single sign-on (SSO) system for the company’s web platform. I also built a nationwide fibre eligibility tool showing available bandwidth by address.
